cooking up some noms on a sunday afternoon

today the human and i decided to spend some time in the kitchen.
how about YOU cook, and i watch?

these really nice ladies at your dogs diner sent me some mutt meatballs and mutt soup mix to try, so i was really excited!

first we made some mutt soup.
and by we, i mean the human cooked while i took a nap on the rug.
i'm helping, you just can't tell.
to make a yummy pot of mutt soup, all you have to do is combine 1 pound of lean meat, 1 tablespoon of olive oil and 6 cups of water (or unsalted chicken broth - yum!) with the mix. then simmer on the stove for 30 minutes.

it was ready before i knew it!
if anyone asks, i cooked this all by myself.
it smelled so good that even the human had a taste!
posing for pictures was hard, because the soup smelled delicious, so i dug right in.
om nom nom nom thank you your dogs diner om nom nom nom nom nom.
next, we cooked up some mutt meatballs!
what do you mean i have to wait 30 minutes for these to be ready? can't you cook any faster?
to make mutt meatballs, all you have to do is combine one pound of lean meat with an egg and the entire package of mutt meatball treat mix. then, use your paws to form the meat into puppy mouth-sized meatballs.
whatdaya mean i can't eat them yet? they smell delicious enough to me.
and then cook them in the oven at 350 degrees for 30 minutes.
is it 30 minutes yet?...how about now?...now?
and then let them cool before you give them to your pup (humans, this mean you should blow on them for as long as it takes to cool them off so your pup can eat them asap).
'scuse me, but do you have any grey poupon for dees here mutt meatballs?

thanks your dogs diner! this was the best dinner i've ever had ever. you guys are the best :)

bon appetit!

  2. Rambo you seriously must have a tummy of STEEL! We would be crapping all over our humans house if she let us eat this kind of food. We have to have food for sensitive stomachs, which SUCKS! :( Maybe if we are good our mommy will give it a try despite the clean up she will no doubt have later! Play date soon? -Fred & Lucy
