i got my cuddle clone today!

my cuddle clone came in the mail today!

my fans might remember a while back when i mentioned that the awesome humans at cuddle clones offered to send me my very own plush clone.

it takes them a few months to make each clone, since they're one of a kind!

anyways, i was really really excited.

i can't wait to see what he looks like!

so the human helped me open the box.

'scuse me human, but you're doing it wrong.

but i got so excited i decided to rip the packing paper out of the box myself.

I WANNA DO IT MYSELF. 

and then the human took him out of the box, and i was SO EXCITED!

OH BOY OH BOY OH BOY OH BOY!!!!!!!!

at first, i didn't really know what to think about him.

if you are a dog, how come you don't have a smell?

so of course i had to get to know him a little better. by sniffing his bum, obviously.

sir, you have the cleanest bum i have ever smelled.

then i tried to get him to play with me.

alright buddy, let's see what you got!

but he didn't really seem into it.

that's ok. i bet he's tired from his trip.

so i let him nap in my pup house for a while. i made sure to keep watch for intruders who might disrupt his sleep.

i think he likes my pup house. good thing i have two of them!

i think this is the beginning of a great friendship!

i can't wait to see what kind of adventures we go on together!

i got a barkbox!

i got a barkbox today!

how long are you going to make me sit her and look at my barkbox? 

basically the best day ever.

this sure smells good. now if i could only figure out how to open it...

barkboxes are really hard to open. if you're a puppy at least.

trying to fit my whole mouth around the box and crunch it with my razor sharp puppy teeth...yeah, definitely didn't work.

so i tried standing on it and ripping at the cardboard. 

this doesn't seem to be working either.

but then...my human opened it for me!!!!!!!

oh boy oh boy oh boy oh boy oh boy oh boy!!!!!!!!!!

and there were all these awesome toys and delicious smelling treats in there!

i refuse to look at the camera at a time like this.

i made sure to keep watch for suspicious humans, squirrels, and blowing leaves that might want to steal my barkbox from me.

a pup can never be too careful when it comes to protecting his barkbox.

my human started pulling out different treats and toys from the box to see what i wanted to nom on first.

that one looks pretty delicious.

new year's eve 2014

happy new year everyone!

for new year's eve, i dressed up in my finest...because i had a lady friend coming over!

do i look handsome and distinguished? because that's what i'm going for.

her name is chloe, and she's really camera shy. 

my human had to pretend she was serving us bacontinis in order to get this picture. chloe wasn't amused once she figured out what we were up to.

chloe decided to hide under the blanket on the couch until we promised to put the camera away.

so of course i posed for pictures for 10 minutes. bacon treats can be verrrry persuasive. 

doing my best impression of my human when she drinks a little too much champagne...he he he.

whooohoo, it's almost 2014! 

i'm pretty sure these are the coolest, most sparkly glasses i've ever worn.

i learned how to wave on command last week, so i made sure to show off my skills to the camera.

how long do i have to wave in order to get that treat you're holding?

but i quickly got tired of wearing my sparkly glasses, and wanted to take them off.

a little help here?

...and i ended up looking like this.

well this is embarrassing.

so i tried on my blue happy new year crown instead.

hmmm...still not sure how i feel about this thing yet.

but it was late, and i was getting tired. i had to figure out how i would conserve my energy to stay up until 12:00am!

if i take a little nap right here, will anyone notice?
